The tii dash clock is fairly durable and not hard to repair. However, to get at the clock, you will need to remove the center console- which might include your Air conditioner. Once you get some operating room, you can reach up behind the clock and remove the two thumb screws and bracket to release the gauge (it mounts just like vdo aftermarket gauges, with a U shaped bracket. From the front, you can now pull the clock out and unplug it.

Removing the bezel and not damaging it is very tricky. Use a small screwdriver and pry it up a little at a time.

If you have the Motometer clock, it functions as a simple mechanical wind-up clock. As the clock runs from its own spring, an arm attached to the spring slowly closes contact points. When the contact points finally close, electricity from the car battery causes the points to pop back open, the arm snaps back which winds the spring for another 15 minutes or so until the gap closes again.

If you have ever sat in the car with the motor off for a few minutes, you might have heard the pop of the clock.

Mine has stopped working again, but like before, I'll bet that the problem is just dirty points.
